Faculty Publications Database (1970-present)
Submission: Submission Form | Criteria for Inclusion
The Faculty Publications Database is a compilation of research accomplishments by Touro faculty and staff published since 1970. The Touro College Library initiated this project in 2009 and since then the database has grown immensely. The database currently contains over 6,100 entries.
The Faculty Publications Database includes scholarly journal articles, books, book chapters, papers published in conference proceedings, translations, book reviews, test reviews (Mental Measurement Yearbooks), practitioner articles and literary forms. The purpose of this database is to promote high quality research. It is not a compilation of CVs and resumes.
The works are cross-referenced and searchable by a variety of classifications, such as by school, name of faculty, key word, subject heading, date of publication, type of publications, etc. This database serves as a tool for interdisciplinary scholarship among colleagues, as well as a showing of Touro's intellectual output. If you have any questions regarding this project, please email Carrie Levinson or Sara Tabaei.
As of January 2014, we have started collaborating with the New York Medical College Library to produce a joint Touro College and University System Faculty Publications platform.
