eBooks Databases

Our collections include subscription eBooks and eBook databases.  In addition to the databases below, you can also search for these and public domain (free) eBooks in the Library Catalog.

General

  • ebrary - Search tens of thousands of ebooks. Covers all areas of academic study.
  • EBSCO eBook Collection (was NetLibrary) - Search over 13,000 ebooks in all areas of academic study.
  • ACLS Humanities E-Book Project - Provides thousands of titles in history and some titles in most humanities disciplines.
  • Credo Reference - Search hundreds of reference sources, containing millions of fully cross-referenced entries.
  • STAT!Ref - Provides full-text access to dozens of books on a variety of topics in health. Topics include anatomy, nursing, surgery, diseases and conditions, treatments, etc.
  • Emerald Social Sciences eBook Series - Contributes much to debate in the fields of education, environmental management/environment, health care management/healthcare, language and linguistics and sociology and public policy.

Hebrew

  • Bar Ilan University Responsa - Search the Bible & principle commentaries, Talmud & principal commentaries; works about Jewish law & customs; major codes of Jewish law, midrashim, Zohar, rabbinical responsa, and Encyclopedia Talmudit. Does not support all browsers.
  • Otzar HaHochma - A world-renowned digital library of more than 50,045 ebooks in all realms of Judaism, from ancient times to the modern period. Includes the Bible, Mishna, Talmud, Halachah, and Jewish thought. Does not support all browsers.
  • JNUL Digitized Book Repository - Over 1,100 digitized volumes of Judaica ranging from 15th century incunabula to early 20th century works.
  • Hebrewbooks.org - Classical hebrew books for free.
